Intellectual Property Seminar

  • Date 10 June 2016
  • Venue A.S. Louken Singapore

In today’s digital age, every business is now an “international” business. As brand owners, it is equally important to protect a brand’s intellectual assets as it is to stand out in the sea of competition.

Unfortunately, many businesses discover, far too late, that the brand they have painstakingly built over the years is not applicable for trademark registration overseas, or worse, that their trade marks have been infringed or registered by other parties. Our seminar was held with the objective to share with SMEs on how to protect and manage their trade mark portfolio, especially during their international business expansion. We have especially brought Mr Stanley Lim, an expert in trade mark registration, from IP registration specialist company known as Intellect-Worldwide, to share with us the fundamentals of trade marks registration that are relevant for all brand owners.
