GoGo Franks signed up a franchisee in Indonesia and opened outlets in Surabaya and Bali with much success.
In 2004, GoGo Franks started in Singapore as a sausage specialty brand focusing on products with distinctive Asian flavours such as Satay, Red Roast and Black Pepper.
GoGo Fanks started its foray into the Indonesian market through a series of market entry activities such as a franchise seminar with Altiply (previous known as A. S. Louken Franchising). Through these activities, GoGo Franks attracted a number of interested prospective franchisees.
Amongst the list of interested parties was one Indonesian franchisee who came to Singapore to observe GoGo Franks’ operations as well as conduct a taste test. What he saw convinced him that GoGo Franks would be feasible for the Indonesian Market.
Following his expression of interest, Altiply worked very closely with GoGo Franks to further assess and negotiate the franchise agreement. We were also privileged to work with GoGo Franks to develop their franchise system and prepare their brand for international business expansion.
It was not long before GoGo Franks’ first outlet in Indonesia opened in Surabaya Airport. The opening of its first outlet was met with great success! This was quickly followed by the opening of its next two outlets in Bali. To-date, GoGo Franks has successfully opened 10 franchisee outlets in Indonesia.
